In slide show view, you show your presentation onscreen to test links between slides and see how they will look to an audience.

If you use a computer to
show your presentation to an audience, you can use slide show view to show your presentation interactively, where you advance each slide yourself and control the pace of the presentation. Or you can show your presentation automatically, where Compel advances each slide at a timed interval, without any action on your part..art.

you can specify the number of seconds to pause between slides, to show the presentation once through or repeat it, and to show all slides or a range of slides.des.
You can pause by pressing the F2 key, and resume by pressing F2 again. You can cancel a slide show by pressing the

When you show an onscreen presentation interactively, you decide when to advance to the next slide, so you can talk as long as necessary and answer your audience
s questions. You click the left mouse button to advance to the next slide and click the right mouse button to return to the previous slide.
You can also display the TwinClick palette by pressing and releasing both mouse buttons simultaneously. (This action is called twin-click.) You can use this palette to navigate in a slide show.

You may have seen a presenter reveal bullets progressively, concealing subsequent points until the current one was thoroughly discussed. You can do that and more in Compel by defining bullet transitions.
You can hide bullets when a slide is first displayed and reveal each bullet by clicking the slide. You can dim the previous bullet when the next one appears, and draw further attention using a graphic such as an arrow or a pointing hand. And instead of just revealing a bullet in place, you can make it float in from
the left, right, top, or bottom of the slide.

Slide transitions can add visual interest to your presentations and let your audience know you
re moving to a new topic. A slide transition causes Compel to draw a slide on the screen in a special way
for example, by dissolving it into pixels, or by wiping it off the screen. The effect that you saw as this slide displayed was a slide transition.
You can define a slide transition for an individual slide or for all the slides in a presentation, and you can choose from several different transition effects.
The effect that you saw as this slide displayed is the Dissolve slide transition. When you leave this slide, you will see a Horizontal Split Out slide transition.

To start animating an object, you move it where you want the animation to begin and make it the size you want. Then you move the object where you want the animation to end, and make the object larger or smaller if you want it to grow or shrink.
You can also specify whether
to hide the object until the animation begins or after the animation is finished and adjust the speed of the animation.

To play the animation, you link it to an object on the slide and specify the event that triggers the animation.
When Clicked
is the most common, and means that the animation will play when you click the object. ect.
You can link the animation to the animated object itself, so that clicking the object causes it to move. Or you can link the animation to a different object.
Animation is only one of the effects you can add to a presentation. For more details, see the next topic,
